The advantage of having a cell wall in an animal cell is that the cell wall will be able to protect the cell from physical damages, since the cell membrane is not strong enough to withstand any damage done to it and also to support the cell. The cell wall also prevents expansion when water enters the cell and hence the cell does not burst unlike the animal cell.
But having cell walls in animal cells also have several disadvantages to the body as well. As the cell wall provides rigidity to the cell for structural and mechanical support, this will hinder our movements and we will find it virtually impossible to move.
